VISION:

MISSION:
To ensure that the children are well nourished, educated, and healthy so that they can develop into responsible citizens.

GOAL:
To foster a sense of self worth in the children’s lives that will motivate them to grow and participate in their own development.

The FPCH orphanage represents so much to the orphan children. They are very  proud to be able to have a place to live and to worship God. Before they were living in the street with no clothes, no shoes, no food and no where to turn. After the earthquake in Haiti many children have been traumatized and sexually abused.

We took in most of the children from off the streets of Cite Soleil. Cite Soleil has been called the most dangerous City in the Western Hemisphere. Cite Soleil is a densely populated maze of slum. Gang activity is rife, and sounds of gunshots pierce through the night.

Foundation for the Promising Children of Haiti  has made it our ministry to rescue the orphans of Cite Soleil since the days following the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010.

 Some organizations have opted not to run programs in Cite Soleil because of the slum’s reputation and crime, but this is where the heart of FPCH work is done. This is where the children of Haiti need us most. This is exactly what  Jesus said he called believers to do, reach out to the world.
